Meghalaya Lok Sabha Member expresses appreciation to Ri Bhoi Synod College for providing education to economically weaker section of society  

Shillong, May 4, 2022(MMP): Ri Bhoi Synod College today felicitated 18 of its first students who graduated from this college including two students who have passed well in the HSSLC Examination.  These persons were felicitated by Lok Sabha Member Vincent Pala who was the Chief Guest at the felicitation programme organized by the college. 

         The programme was also graced by MDC of Mawhati Constituency-Charles Marngar as Guest of Honour, Dr. Celestine Lyngdoh, Rev. H.L. Marsing-the President of the  Governing  Board, Principal of the   -Dr. Kamailang Nongmalieh, u Vice-Principal-Rev Precious Tmung, Office  Bears  of the College, teachers  and students of the college. This college was declared open by Vincent Pala in 2017. The establishment  of the college was to provide education to the people belonging to economically weaker sections of Ri Bhoi area. Speaking on the occasion Vincent expressed deep appreciation to the college authorities for extending their serves in the field of education to poor people of the society.

Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement of  Ri Bhoi District requests Meghalaya Home Minister to upgrade Umsning Police Outpost to Police Station

Shillong, May 4, 2022(MMP):In order the minimize the various problems faced the people Umsning in Ri Bhoi District, the Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement of  Ri Bhoi District to met the Meghalaya Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui at the Main Secretariat in Shillong and requested him to upgrade the Umsning Outpost to a Police Station. Speaking to the media, the President of the organization,  Pateng Myrsing informed that the Minister will look into the matter.
