Member of National Commission for Minorities Smti. Rinchen Lhamo expresses satisfaction over the state of affairs regarding minorities in Meghalaya

Shillong May,2,2022(MMP):The Member of National Commission for Minorities Smti. Rinchen Lhamo today expressed satisfaction over the state of affairs regarding minorities in Meghalaya. Addressing the media at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills in Shillong, Lhamo expressed the need of setting the Minority Commission in Meghalaya and she will meet the state Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma and Meghalaya Chief Secretary, Smti. R.V. Suchiang to impress them on the need to set up the Minority Commission in Meghalaya. She also said the Government of India is implementing various schemes for the minorities and people are not aware of them due to lack of awareness. Lhamo is on a five-day tour to Meghalaya to assess on the implementation of Central Schemes in Meghalaya

MOIT International Hospital Chennai and Bethany Hospital Shillong organize “spine consultation” camp

Shillong May,2,2022(MMP):MOIT International Hospital of Chennai along with Bethany Hospital, Shillong are organizing the “spine consultation” camp from today. It will continue till May 7. Noted spine specialists namely Dr.S Shashikant and Dr. K. Narayanan of MOIT International are treating the patients. Talking to reporters, MOIT spine specialist Dr. Sashikant said that this is the first collaboration between the two hospitals. Bethany Hospital spokesperson, Kyntiewlang Sanmiet said that the two hospitals would continue to hold similar and, camps in the future.
