SHILLONG MARCH,26,2022 (MMP):Meghalaya’s Anti Narcotic Task Force team has seized 500 bottles of the banned substance Phensidryl from one Bolero Pick-Up bearing registration No. AS 14 C 8239. The team has also apprehended one suspected person Md. Kashem Ali and the driver Amirul Islam who hail from Dhubri District of Assam. A case in this connection has been registered under the Nongalbibra PS Case No. 03(03)2022 under section 22 (C) / 29 of the NDPS Act. IPS officer of South Garo Hills, Rituraj Ravi said that the police team have been able to apprehend the people involved in the connection with drug smuggling.
