Shillong, December 7, 2021 (MMP) Student body and social organization belonging to Khasi Students’ union and Hynniewtrep Youth Movement today pay floral tribute to the former President of Khasi Students’ Union, Bull N. Lyngdoh on his 27th Death Anniversary. These two organisations placed wreathes at the bust of former KSU leader, Late Bull Lyngdoh at Dhankheti Point in from of Law College in Shillong.
The Khasi Students Union commemorated the 27th Death Anniversary of the former President of the KSU Bull Lyngdoh with placing wreathes at his bust at Dhankheti point in front of Shillong Law College. Speaking on the occasion, speakers fondly rememberd the former KSU President for his dedicated service in the fight against influx by foreign nationals and inter-state migrant labourers. The programme was marked by the presence of KSU President, Lambokstar Marngar, the General Secretary, Donald V Thabah and other KSU leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Marngar urged the people of the state to emulate the good example shown by former KSU President Bull N. Lyngdoh who dedicated his life for the welfare of the community.
Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister James K. Sangma inaugurates Pressure Swing Absorption Oxygen Plant at Nazareth Hospital
Shillong, December 7, 2021 (MMP) Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister today inaugurated the Pressure Swing Absorption Oxygen Generation Plant at Nazareth Hospital in Shillong. The plant was set up with financial assistance fvrom PATH, GiveIndia being implemented by TATA. Dr. G Rangad-the Chief Medical Officer of Nazareth Hospital, Sister Noreen – Administrator of Nazareth Hospital, Mission Director of National Health Mission – Ram Kumar, Principal & Secretary of Health Department-Sampat Kumar and other were present.
The programme started with a prayer by the Vicar General of Shillong Archdiocese Fr. Richar Majaw. Dr G. Rangad gave a short speech on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Health Minister James P.K. Sangma lauded Nazareth Hospital for providing health care the people of the state.
