The trainers express concern over lack of participation in the Food Safety Training Programme in Shillong

Shillong, November 24, 2021(MMP): The Food Safety and Standard Authority of India today organized the Food Safety Training Programme at Don Bosco Youth Centre in Shillong. The trainers expressed concern over the lukewarm attitude of the Khasi who did not turn up for the training despite written invitation and telephonic reminders.  The training partner, Sadik Masih of Medical Social Servant Society, Delhi spoke at length on food safety.

Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner Food Safety, Government of Meghalaya, D. Mukhim termed the training as important, as it would provide the trainees to prepare safe food for the consumers.
