Speaking on the occasion N. Munish Singh, Regional Director Indian Council for Cultural Relations added, that the students are fortunate to avail the facilities offered by the training of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre. While reminiscing his visit abroad, he also mentioned that most people know India through Swami Vivekananda and everyone should know and read him to enrich their lives. This was the first convocation after the pandemic where the function was held maintaining all the SOP of COVID. The training was said to have been conducted in a hybrid model of Online and Offline system. Swami Hitakamanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, inspired the students and said that hard work and perseverance is the only key to success.
During the function, the center distributed about 419 Certificates to the students of Computer and Language trainees of the institute who are said to have completed. But the most coveted award was that of Computer Gift which was awarded to two meritorious students – Ibaraidei and Dibanto Sari
The students 0who topped the academics were Computer-Beginner: Mr Francis Sumer, Computer-Intermediate Susmita Paul, Accounting and Tally: Nisha Pyngrope, Photo Editing: Ms Bandarilang Kshiar, Illustrator: Ms Banisha Pyngrope, Database I : Ms Mebabet Kharkongor, My SQL: Mr Dibanto Sari, Python programming: Mr Rajdeep Chanda, PC Maintenance: Mr Kushal Das.
