Shillong, January 14, 2021 (MMP): The National Health Mission and UNICEF today organized a half day Media Sensitization Workshop on COVID-19 Vaccination Drive at State Convention centre in Shillong. The aim of this workshop is to sensitize the media person on the vaccine. Many of incidences have occurred due to lack of awareness among the public and the role of media can be utilized as a powerful tool to combat rumours.The state health Department will officialy launch the Covid-19 vaccination drive on the 16th of this month on a face wise manner across the state. In this regard the covid vaccine has been developed to help tackle the COVID-19 Pandemic by protecting and preventing the diseases from spreading further.
