Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’Association appreciates Meghalaya Government to hold MBOSE Examination without Selection Tests

Shillong, November 20, 2020 (MMP):The President of Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ Association today expressed appreciation to  Meghalaya Government to allow the students of Secondary School Leaving Certificate and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate to be conducted by Meghalaya Board of School Education to appear their final examination without writing the Selection Tests.

        Speaking to the media, the President of the Khasi Deficit School Teachers’ Association, Kular Khongjirem expressed appreciation to the Government for paying heed to their suggestion to conduct these examinations without the written tests in view of the Covid-19 pandemic in the state. Khongjirem also made an ardent appeal to the state Government to timely release the salaries of the Deficit School Teachers do not face financial problems. He urged the Government to release the arrears of the teacher that has accrued from the implementation of the last Pay Commission.         He said that it is high time for the Government to implement to the pension scheme for the Deficit School Teachers like the Government employees.
