Shillong, 9, 2020 (MMP): In Meghalaya, 121 new cases were reported today taking the tally of active cases to 1355. Out of the 121 new cases, 30 are from East Khasi Hills, 2 from Ri Bhoi, 4 from South Garo Hills, 25 from West Garo Hill, 1 from West Khasi Hills and 59 from East Jaintia Hills. Health officials said that 107 Covid-19 patients were recovered today taking the total recovery to 1823. Of these, 88 are from East Khasi Hills, 2 are South West Garo Hills, 2 from Ri Bhoi, 2EGH, 4 from East Jaintia Hills, 5 from West Garo Hills and 4 from North Garo Hill. They informed that two deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills in the last 24 hours taking the total death to 19. So far 1,04,090 samples have tested, out of which, 99,640 have tested negative and 1253 results still awaited. A total of 34,399 people have entered Meghalaya. MMP
