Shillong, Feb 20, 2020(MMP): The five-day long Meghalaya Games-2020 organized by Meghalaya State Olympic Association and Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs will be concluded at the Laban Sports Auditorium in Shillong tomorrow. This was disclosed by the MSOA Working President, John F. Kharshiing at a Press Conference held at J.N. Sports Complex. Kharshiing also informed that the games is part of the preparation for the upcoming National Games-2022 to be held in Meghalaya. Kharshiing said Meghalaya is having enormous sports talent and with very negligible sports infrastructure, the athletes are doing extremely well and the state expects to bag medals at the National Games-2022 particularly physical contact sports. He also informed Meghalaya Chief Secretary will lower the flag of the Meghalaya Games-2020 at 4.00 p.m. to be marked by Martial Arts demonstration.
