Shillong, 23rd Aug 19 (MMP): Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma chaired the meeting on Chief Minister’s programme “MOTHER”- Meghalaya’s Outcome Oriented Transformation in Health, Nutrition, Education and Rural Development at Circuit House, Nongpoh. The meeting was also attended by Commissioner & Secretary, C & RD etc P Sampat Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi and officials from various departments of the district.
In his Opening Remarks, the Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma, said that the programme focuses on mother and child and measures the outcome in Health, Nutrition, Education, livelihood and productivity of the mothers by mobilizing the entire community and using data. The objective will be achieved by integrating various departments of Health, Education, Social Welfare and Rural Development he informed. The meeting at length discussed the various aspects of the programme. MMP
