KHADC ruling UDA meeting fails to resolve crisis

Shillong, May 4, 2019 (MMP):The ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council held a meeting yesterday and failed to arrive at any conclusion, even after six MDCs withdrew support to the ruling coalition equal distribution of  central development scheme. The MDCs who had tendered their resignation from the ruling coalition UDA attended the meeting and informed the meeting that they had not change their earlier decision. Speaking to the media, the Chief Executive Member of KHADC, Teinwell Dkhar informed that nothing tangible emerged from the meeting and another meeting will be held in this coming week. The meeting was attended by all the ruling UDA coalition partners, such as, the People’s Democratic Alliance and Regional Democratic Alliance except Nassar Marwein, a UDP MDC who was unwell. MMP
