Shillong, March 20, 2019 (MMP): In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise staff of East Khasi Hills District, Shillong conducted raids in the restaurants and stalls in the town and its outskirts during the month of February, 2019. The Excise staff detected 8 cases with a seizure of 74.600 litres of Indian made liquor and 1.500 litres Indian Made Foreign Liqour. In this connection, seven persons were arrested under Excise Act.
